Due to the high demand for an educational institution, the program was written up for 1200 students and 200 preschoolers. To break down the mass of the building, the building was designed in a 1&2-storey atrial system, where patios serve as green classes and a safe playground. Extensive, flat layout allowed for one-sided tracts of rooms in each wing and provided good lighting in the corridors. The wide and well-lit corridors became a common area, where important school child life goes on. Large windows provide students with vistas towards nature surrounding the building: a pond, a horse farm and wild birch grove kept on the site. No enclosed staircases was used in favor of the open stairs and mezzanine system which added spatial qualities for the acessible transverse halls.
The interiors are finished with raw, natural materials such as painted concrete, plywood, woodwool boards, and have very few suspended ceilings. Economical façade solutions are counterbalanced by a play of full and glazed modules. The allover design is consistently maintained in modular order.
