The main idea was to intervene formally as little as possible into the layout of the WUWA exhibition. New elements are grouped in a layout of multifunctional low walls that fulfil the inhabitants' and tourists' needs. Low walls are continuation and elaboration of the existing spatial ideas, for example near the building designed by Hans Scharoun. The system is also a discreet frame for the urban layout and determines its boarders, entrances and traffic routes.
