The idea of the project was to amend the urban layout and its connection to the urban tissue. The main compositional axis is based on the existing street layout. The axis is topped with an large opening – an entrance square in front of the football pitch.
The stadium is designed as a typical football facility with two roofed tribunes and a green embankment as a reserve for the third tribune. The form of the object – with roofed tribunes – is determined by the rhythm of vertical columns and horizontal girders. Using natural materials such as concrete prefabs, timber and steel emphasises the simplicity of the applied solutions resulting from the cosy scale of the buildings and budget limitations.
