The main problem of Koszalin is lack of a spatial definition and structure: urban blocks are incomplete, important public spaces are indefinite and located nearby busy and congested throughfares, and streets and pedestrian areas are disrupted. The priority was given to defition of new, user-friendly urban interiors that could be furnished with small architecture and details that create new urban identity.
