The project is a study on a mobile structure – an opening and closing cupola with a function of a small auditory or a stage. The main task was to devise a simple and reliable opening/closing mechanism that would allow for even distribution of strains in the whole structure and not in its specific elements. The solution used is a system of pulleys and cables which both statically and dynamically link all structural elements.
