The emblem and the slogan for the architectural program - "Chemistry is here!" - refer to the former function of the unused object, where the festival took place, which was an auditorium for the faculty of chemistry . The building, designed by Krystyna and Marian Barski, is currently the youngest listed object in Poland and there has been for years a quest for its succesful functional regeneration without compromising structural or architectural integrity.The neon reminds about the auditorium's presence in the cityscape as well as confirms the fondness architects, art historians and city dwellers have for it.
The neon makes use of the logo "Chemia-reakcja kultury" concieved during a student worshop, prior to the festival, by Karolina Kotlicka and Marta Kowalczyk.
