For all children who grew up playin in the streets weeds used to be, along with pigeons and sparrows, an intrinsic element of the landscape. Today, children's play is strictly limited to children's playgrounds and space formerly dedicated to spontaneous and ingenious games is transformed into car parks. Every year patches of forgotten land become manicured lawns and wild weeds disappear. "Weed garden" installation is a sentimental invitation to visit an island of wildeness in a controlled and well-ordered urban space.
