Vertical stratification of functions resulted from small site area. A library is located on the ground-floor as a much frequented integration place for the local people. The next floor is occupied by a double floor multifunctional room with backstage. Workshops are located on the top floors. The last floor rests on Vierendeel beams what provides some extra technological space in the ceiling and allows for flexible partitioning and reorganization of the workshop space. Due to the depth of the building the workshop space is lit by the sawtooth roof.
