The adopted solutions aim to respond to the program while taking into account the public nature of the Słodowa Island and the controversy related to the investment.The lower floors remain maximally open for cafes, bars, ice cream parlors, etc. as well as exhibitions and public events. The upper floors are occupied by offices and co-working areas. On the top floor there is a multi-purpose room with an open observation deck.We decided to preserve interesting and valuable murals that reflect the genius locii well and have, for years, become one of the symbols of the Island. Outdoor stairs work as a public space extantion and provide a place for small events, projections, social gatherings or simply, rain canopy.The concept was favorably received by the critically acclaimed urban activists environment.
